I recently received my Albini Tiny Lavender Stripes Poplin shirt from Tailor Lamb. As Tailor Lamb uses only the best materials for their shirts, this dress shirt was made from fabric from the Albini mill, an Italian fabric mill that sources the finest quality cotton available. You can find Albini shirts in big brands on the high street, but they cost three or four times the price of Tailor Lamb. I'm really impressed with the packaging of the shirt, as it came in a lovely little box.
When I opened the box, I was amazed to find a beautifully packaged shirt that was made extremely well. The design of the shirt was spot on, and exactly like the photos on their site. The stripe pattern on the shirt was quite small, so it looks quite elegant and sophisticated. The purple and white pattern is not too noticeable and bold, yet sharp enough to stand out. All in all, this is a beautifully designed shirt!
As for the quality, since Tailor Lamb prides itself on producing long-lasting shirts, this shirt is of no exception as it is impeccably made and stitched. There wasn't any loose threads or excess fabric, and the stitching is really high quality. I checked the sleeves and the body and the patterns actually match up- another sign of good workmanship and attention to detail. I'm really impressed!
As for the comfort and fit, I actually gave them measurements from my boyfriend's old shirt. The shop made my shirt exactly as I requested, and the result is indeed a perfectly fitted shirt- that looks amazing on my boyfriend's body. You can always just give them body measurements and they'll do the rest! The shirt is, according to my boyfriend, extremely comfortable and breathable during the day, which makes it the perfect work shirt.
Overall, I can't recommend Tailor Lamb enough. If you're looking for the ideal shirt for men, this shop is the way to go. I'm very happy with my purchase and it's one of the coolest shirts I've gotten for my man. Best of all, for each shirt you purchase, some of it goes to charity as Tailor Lamb supports Teach for All, a program designed to give underprivileged children education.
