Fall is easily the most unique fashion season of the month. After all, despite the dark hues, there is a lot more to experiment and play with. If you are someone who loves to shop for the runway trends and ideas, we have a list that might get you excited. Without much talk, let’s get started. This is all you need to shop for fall 2016.
Who loves pink? Pink and the fall don’t really make for the ideal classic, but this season, you can try a lot more than just the basics. Yes, you heard that right. Pink is the colour of fall 2016, and almost every big show had a hint of the colour. From the soft shades like seen at Tibi and Monique Lhuillier to some of the more complicated brighter colours as seen at Altuzarra, and Tory Burch, there was something for everyone! If you aren’t sure to the extent you can experiment, just play around with some safer shades, and yet, you can be pinky in fun ways.
Layered up: The layered look for the fall is anything but new, but how about adding more layers underneath the dungarees and jumpsuits? Sounds like a plan? Well, that’s all the designer houses like Proenza Schouler, Altuzarra, Novis and Oscar de la Renta had to show. This is something that looks straight back from the school, and even then, there is some sort of fun element that refuses to follow the classic style of layering. For those who don’t miss on trying new things, this one is for you!
Styled for velvety finish: Velvet is a luxurious fabric, but not everyone can carry it off. We are proud to say that complete and minimal velvet makes a comeback this season. If you love the idea of playing with velvet styles, there is a lot to check in some of the leading runway shows, including Ralph Lauren, Prabal Gurung, Marc Jacobs, and Jason Wu to name a few. Velvet needs a lot of attitude, but if you can play around with the right colours or use black as a safe shade, you are good to go.
Go for checks: Remember spring 2015? Well, we had gingham that kind of took over the runways and every other store. Well, this time, you have checks, mostly in the classic style to add more glamour to casual looks. From a formal ensemble to something more fun in shorts, skirts and shirts, there is a lot for everyone. Just make sure that you play around with white checks, which seemed to be more popular. Some of the biggest shows worth checking include Calvin Klein, Jason Wu, Coach and Ralph Lauren. You can add a pair of tights to a nice checked shirt for a cool look, and to shop more sporty looks, click here!
Hope you had a good time sorting your shopping list for the fall!
