Origins Revitalizing Mask with Rose Clay - Tryout and Review

I recently got some free samples from Origins, a famous beauty brand which specialises in skincare. I'm sure many of you know Origins as it's pretty famous. Anyway, I got some samples of their Revitalizing Mask with Rose Clay as they were giving it out for free at my university' fresher fair and tried it on after a shower.

Overall rating: 8/10

The Origins Rose Clay Mask dried really quickly compared to other clay masks I used. I'm pleased with this, because I hate waiting for masks to dry for eternity. I don't like clay masks as it takes time to dry, but this one's quick and efficient. Plus points!

The effect of the mask is good- it visibly reduced my pores and left my skin clean. I also like how the clay contains particles which exfoliate your face as you wash it off. However, it did leave my face a little dry. Like any clay mask, it must be complimented with moisturiser after use, otherwise your face will feel stiff and dry. I used the Origins Original Skin Renewal Serum after the mask and it made my skin soft and supple.

Compared to other clay masks, this one feels more fine and delicate. The clay's texture is noticeably better, as it's finer and smoother. The colour is also rose gold, which makes it super pretty, unlike other ugly clay masks out there which are brown or grey! It doesn't smell as strong as some of the other masks I used, though I would prefer it to smell even less sweet.

You can buy this mask in store or online via Sephora or any website!
