Hey everyone! As "work from home" is the new norm these days, I want to share with you something that I got myself as a special gift for all those stay-home days. I want to show you my new silk pyjamas from Katherine Hooker London, an amazing and luxurious brand that sells a wide range of clothing and pyjamas for women. I took so many photos of my new set, so this review will be full of pictures- check them out below!
A bit about the brand- Katherine Hooker London is a British label founded with one mission in mind- to give women the best piece of clothing that you can pass on to generations and generations. Katherine Hooker designs her clothing so that they are timeless, luxurious and elegant. In fact, Kate Middleton swears by the brand, as she and her sister frequently wears Katherine Hooker's designs and coats. It's of no surprise, as the brand's designs are extremely gorgeous and clean-cut.
Their clothing can be worn in many different occasions and all her silhouettes are pretty classic, gorgeous and chic. Although the brand sells a variety of gorgeous jackets and clothing, I'm going to focus on their new range of silk pyjamas because they just launched this line, and I fell in love with their Blush Pink Silk Pyjamas at first sight.
In terms of the aesthetics, the silk design was drawn by Katherine's sister and the shop then printed it in the UK on 100% silk. The print was inspired by Katherine's love for Greece, which means that the shirt and bottom has flowers and nature printed on it. It's so lovely, and reminds me of something the Queen would wear to sleep. I adore the colors of the set too, as it came in a lovely pale pink colour which contrasts the print very well. The whole set looks extremely luxurious and high-end!
In terms of the quality, the pyjamas are completely made in London, which means that the quality is fantastic and second-to-none. I found that the stitching on the pyjamas was perfect and none of it was out of place. In fact, the silk pyjamas felt sturdy, thick and comfortable, meaning that it will indeed last a lifetime with proper care and love. The silk used is 100% habotai silk, which is perfect as it's light, breathable and smooth. It simply feels amazing on the skin. I could wear these all day without breaking into a sweat.
The pyjamas also featured beautiful buttons and pink silk piping along the collar, down in the front and on the cuffs. This piping detail adds a lovely touch to the pyjama set, as it makes it look extra stylish and luxurious. I also adore the mother of pearl buttons which shines under the sun! I'd love to style the top with a pair of jeans too as the shirt is pretty versatile in style.
Blush Pink Silk Pyjamas- £475 GBP
Katherine Hooker sells these pyjama sets in a variety of colors such as navy, yellow, aqua blue and dark blue. They all look extremely stylish and elegant, and they would make lovely birthday gifts to your loved ones. The brand also stocks some of the most gorgeous coats and dresses that I've seen, some of which are made from pure silk. Pure silk is so beneficial to the skin, so they're definitely items that deserve to be in every woman's wardrobe.
Overall, I'm extremely happy with these items from the brand. Katherine is extremely talented and her items reflect her effort, dedication and skill. All of the items are of impeccable quality and design, and they definitely stand out from the crowd. Since gift season is coming up, I'd highly recommend checking out their shop, as silk apparel and accessories make lovely gifts!
