The Best Cashmere Sweaters You Can Get- Tolaga Bay Review

The world's most luxurious material is cashmere - it beats merino wool in terms of warmth, and it beats cotton in terms of softness and coziness. However, it's hard to find an affordable shop that sells great and stylish cashmere sweaters for an affordable price. I want to introduce you to a lovely shop called Tolaga Bay Cashmere , a gorgeous boutique from New Zealand that sells comfortable, relaxed-fit cashmere sweaters for men and women that exude elegance, sophistication and style.

A bit about the brand- Tolaga Bay Cashmere creates the finest luxury knitwear for Women, Men, Baby and Home. Each cashmere garment is finely crafted by hand using their own factory which is located in Tolaga Bay, an area famous for their scenic New Zealand views. What's unique about them is that their garments are made using the brand's own cashmere goats. By doing that, they achieve a superior fibre and ensures that everything is made sustainably and ethically. The brand's goats are free to roam in their natural habitat, high up on Tolaga Bay's hills overlooking the South Pacific Ocean.

I'm lucky enough to review 4 unique items from Tolaga Bay Cashmere. I'm going to talk about each one in detail and take photos of how I styled them.

This Loose Fit V-Neck Sweater is absolutely lovely and unique. I got this jumper because it's in a beautiful shade of ice blue which matches well with pretty much anything- I love pairing it with jeans, sandals and a cute bag, but it would go equally well with a skirt and a pair of heels. The best thing about Tolaga Bay Cashmere's designs is that they're versatile and flexible, and matches with everything in my wardrobe.

The quality of the cashmere knit is excellent. It is made with a light-weight, super soft 2-ply cashmere knit, which means that it feels quite luxurious and flowy. In fact, the knitting is some of the best quality that I've ever seen- the stitching on the sides are detailed and tight, and the whole sweater feels like it can last me for many years to come.

The sizing of the sweaters are on the relaxed side. I got the Size Small which fits a UK 8-10, and the other sizes comes in looser fits. I actually love the relaxed design of the sweater, because a slightly looser sweater actually looks better on a lot of body shapes. It also pairs better with leggings, as you can go for a cool, casual 'street' look. This straight silhouette is elegant and super chic, and I totally love the slightly slouchy feel of the sweater.

The next item is this Scoop Neck Sweater, which came in a beautiful grey colour. The brand sells this sweater in multiple colors, but I love this light grey best as it compliments pretty much any outfit. The design of this sweater is unique- it features a loose-fit silhouette and a scoop neck front, which means that it flatters a lot of different body types. I love the long sleeves and looseness of the jumper, as it looks more stylish and chic when paired with tight trousers.

In terms of quality, the sweater is really well made. It is made from Tolaga Bay's finest signature cashmere but the weave is different- it features a horizontal rib knit which is striking, beautiful and stylish. I really like the knit pattern as it gives the cashmere sweater a bit of an edge over the other types of sweaters in their shop. Again, the cashmere fibres are fine and beautiful, and looks like it won't pile anytime.

The third item that I got is this gorgeous functional Loose Fit V-Neck Sweater which impressed me a lot. This versatile top really impressed me as it is extremely fine and made from high-quality materials. I found that this top pairs well with anything in my closet, and it is quite classic in design so I can wear this top with my casual outfits.

As for the details, the top features a loose lower area and a slight V-neck, which protects your chest from the cold winds, and is slim-fitting so it nips and tucks at all the right places. This top is particularly flattering for girls who have athletic bodies, as it would enhance the shoulder while hiding the midsection really well.

I love the quality- the top is soft, not heavy and perfectly made. It doesn't feel itchy or scratchy at all. In fact, the cashmere is as smooth and fine as it gets. The beautiful girly pink colour is also super cool, and matches with pretty much anything in a girl's wardrobe. Everything's stitched on perfectly and there's not a single loose thread. It would be lovely for women of all ages, and would make an excellent present for your mother, girlfriend or sister. Tolaga Bay Cashmere's quality is fantastic and everything's manufactured to perfection.

The last item that I want to talk about is this Sports Joggers, which is made in the softest 2-ply cashmere. The joggers come in a wide range of colors including taupe (pictured), grey and black. I have never bought a pair of cashmere joggers before because I'm worried it will pile, lose it's shape and fade. However, after a week or more of wearing these joggers, I'm confident to say that they're the best joggers that I have in my wardrobe. It didn't pile or change shape after each wear, nor did it pile during the wash!

In terms of the design and style, these joggers feature a lovely elasticated waistband which makes it extra comfortable for wearing at home or for runs. I love the small tie at the front which lets you adjust the waistline. I got a size Small but I think they run a little large, so you can order a size down if you wish. The joggers are just the right length and is so luxurious and soft that I never want to take it off after I wear them!

Overall, Tolaga Bay Cashmere has a beautiful range of sweaters, and they come in lovely colors such as pink, blue and grey. They also stock accessories and men's sweaters which make up their luxurious collection. The quality of their cashmere items are second-to-none and are some of the best I've ever worn. Their fibres are soft, luxurious and top-notched, and I would definitely recommend their brand above any other.
