Have you ever seen a brand and went "Wow" because of their designs? I know I certainly have. Today I want to talk about a really cool, artsy and dazzling brand that I recently came across. The shop is called Rubyyaya and they specialise in creating stylish, bold and stunning prints on their unique clothing. I've always admired clothing brands that go the extra mile to make their designs one-of-a-kind, and Rubyyaya is one of the best brands that I've ever seen!
A bit about the brand- Rubyyaya is inspired by a love of travel and artisanal products while promoting fair labour practices. The brand celebrates elegance, luxury and a simple lifestyle, and creates clothing that exudes a carefree, free-spirited attitude. All of their designs are extremely unique, and their signature colors are neutrals, nudes and bright, bold embellishments. The brand originated in Australia is now distributed internationally around the world.
I want to show you two of their stunning pieces from the brand's Globetrotter collection, which showcases the very best of their designs. The first item that I want to show you are the Manhattan Pants, which can be brought from their stockists such as Tealily and Hummingbird. Rubyyaya does not sell directly on their site, so their products are found in various shops around the globe. Take a look at how I styled these gorgeous pants below!
As you can see, the Manhattan Pants are the perfect starting point for any look, regardless of whether you are going to the beach or to the office for a relaxed day of work. You can pair it with a leather jacket and a black top like I did, to give off a casual yet chic look, or you can wear it with a casual tee or a tank top for a dressed-down vibe. I chose to go for an edgier, all-black look as it suits the pants and the backdrop! I love how versatile this pair of pants is, as you can totally match it with anything under the moon!
In terms of the quality, the pants are made really well and without a single flaw. They are lovely and embellished using a mirror sequin detail, which repeats all across the front and back of the pants. I'm afraid some of them will fall out, but so far, they've all remained in place! The pants are made with the softest material, which feels like cotton, and it feels so light and breezy in the hot summer months. In Brisbane, it was winter when I took these shots, but these pants kept me warm and cozy. The frontal zip is also extremely well made, and everything's perfect.
In terms of the design and style, these pants are absolutely delightful and stunning. The pants come in a straight fit, which means that it is not too tight around the thighs and ankles, and I love the softness of the material. The pants feature pockets and a front zip for easy wear, and the length hits me at the ankle. Overall, these pants are excellent and definitely worth buying!
Now, onto the second look!
This second item that I got from Rubyyaya is this lovely Wichita Jacket in Silver. I fell in love with this jacket the first time that I saw it on their website, as it was featured in their latest collection. I absolutely love the stunning design, and the fact that it is covered with embellishments means that it glitters and sparkles like no other piece of clothing that I've ever seen. This piece is definitely a wardrobe stunner, as it is a jacket unlike anything else in their collection.
This unique, fully embellished jacket is perfect for formal events and cocktail functions, and can be paired with a simple black dress or suit pants. With complete sequin detailing and hand sewn care, this jacket is the statement piece of your wardrobe. I chose to pair it in two ways- first with a short, bodycon dress which shows off the legs, and the flattering fit of the jacket; and secondly with the Manhattan Pants shown before to give off a more formal look.
In terms of the quality, this jacket is stunning as it is fully lined on the inside to add extra comfort, and has a flat round collar which means that it doesn't irritate your skin. The jacket is made from 100% polyester, which feels so smooth and silky against the skin. The complete sequin and beading are all hand-sewn and meticulously made, and the craftsmanship involved must have been great. This jacket is made in India, and it is definitely one of the most beautiful pieces in Rubyyaya's collection. It has a semi-ethnic vibe, and can also be worn with white trousers and a cami top.
As for the comfort and fit, I got the smallest size and it fits me well. Rubyyaya's cutting and fits are all quite generous and flattering, and they definitely tailor these clothing to fit bodies of all sizes and shapes. The jacket is extremely comfortable and you don't feel like the sequins weigh the jacket down at all. It is very lightweight and beautiful, and I feel like a million dollars when I'm wearing it!
Overall, I'm throughly impressed with Rubyyaya's amazing designs, one-of-a-kind pieces and bold designs. You can tell that the designers put every effort into making unique, gorgeous and diverse clothing, and they all have one thing in common- they're extremely stylish yet functional and versatile.
