Now, everyone needs shirts. Let's face it- tailored, custom shirts are hard to come by and cost a lot of money. Even online tailor shops, like some of the ones that I've tried before, are quite hefty in price. I can't afford them all the time, and the shirts don't last forever. However, Hawes & Curtis makes sure that they sell their shirts at low, affordable prices. This means that each shirt that I got only costs around 39- 45 GBP- which is almost half of a normal shirt that I'd get somewhere else!

The first shirt that I got was this gorgeous Women's White Fitted Stretch Shirt with Contrast Detail- it is made from 97% cotton and is ultra comfortable, with a bit of stretch to make sure that it hugs your curves well. As you can see above, I styled it with a clean black skirt for an office-ready look. I really like the shirt because it is absolutely gorgeous, and the detailing on the inside of the cuff and collar is simply fantastic- a lovely touch!
In terms of the quality and fit, a UK 10 fits me perfectly, and isn't too tight or loose. I would recommend their women's shirts as they are true to size, feels ultra comfortable and looks pretty great with a skirt or a pair of trousers! I also love the little red stitching colors on the buttons!
The second shirt that I got was for my boyfriend, and he wanted an affordable work shirt that he could wear everyday. He loves the slim look, and I went for their Men's Formal slim-fit stretch cotton shirt. I think that this style is extremely versatile for any man who wants to make an impression. The sizing is pretty accurate, though I had to ask their team to get back to me on the right size. They have a helpful sizing chart which is pretty easy to read.
In terms of the quality and style, I adore the crisp, stretch cotton. I don't like 100% cotton shirts as they are too rigid, and this shirt fits my bill perfectly. I think my boyfriend loves his shirt, and he tells me that he wears it everyday!
As with the above, this Men’s Formal White Extra Slim Fit Stretch Shirt – Single Cuff - is beautiful too. It's the same shirt as the one above, but it's made in a different colour, which is more flexible and arguably more useful in certain situations. Men need different coloured shirts, and this white slim fit shirt is one of the slimmest ones that I've seen- and fits my man very well!
I also love how the company makes different sized shirts- they have a tailored fit, slim fit, classic fit and extra slim fit, which caters for a variety of audiences. I also love the quality- for the price, the quality is stunning. Hands down, this shop is one of the most affordable shirt shops that I've seen.
Overall, I'm in love with Hawes & Curtis. I wore my shirt to work the other day, and everyone asked me where I got it. Little did they know that it was from one of the most affordable shirt companies that I've ever seen!

I absolutely love the subtle detail of the red thread on the buttons. It is such a wonderful and unexpected pop of colour!
