Let’s be real—socks are usually the last thing I think about when I’m getting dressed. I’ll happily splurge on skincare, statement earrings, or a new coffee machine, but socks? They’re just… socks, right? That’s exactly what I thought until I found the brand Peper Harow (which I've reviewed before- but it's been a while since I've talked about them so here goes).
A little about the brand- founded in 2013, Peper Harow is a British luxury brand known for its high-quality socks, accessories, and refined gifts. Inspired by the historic parish of Peper Harow in Surrey, the brand blends traditional British charm with modern design. Each pair of socks is crafted in the UK using advanced knitting technology and sustainable practices. With a focus on style, comfort, and craftsmanship, Peper Harow delivers timeless products that elevate everyday essentials for men and women around the world.
I recently tried four new styles from their women’s collection—the Quarter Crew Organic Sport Socks, Organic Trainer Sport Socks, Grid Trainer Socks in Pink, and the Delicate Trainer Socks in Celeste—and I can confidently say I’ve been converted. These aren’t just socks. They’re an experience.
The Quarter Crew Organic Women’s Sport Socks were the first ones I slipped on, and wow. Quarter crew socks are such an underrated shape—they peek out just enough to give a sporty edge without overpowering your sneakers. These felt plush right away, and they’re made from GOTS certified organic cotton, which gave me bonus eco-feels. They’re soft but supportive (made from 72% Organic Cotton, 24% Polyamide, 4% Spandex), with ribbing that hugs your arch and ankle in the nicest way. I wore these on a long walk around Hampstead Heath and didn’t have to tug or adjust them once. No sweaty feet, no slipping, just pure comfort.

Next up were the Organic Women’s Trainer Sport Socks in classic white. These are your minimal, breathable, go-with-everything kind of socks—but they feel so much more premium than your usual multipack. I usually get annoyed with trainer socks that either roll down or cut into my heel. These did neither. The cushioning is subtle, not bulky, and they actually stay put. Whether I was rushing to catch the tube or doing quick errands, they held up beautifully. I’m planning to get a second pair just to rotate them through the week.
Then came the Grid Women’s Trainer Socks. Let’s talk about the color first. It’s cheerful without being childish—like bubblegum with a chic filter. The grid pattern gives them a slightly retro, slightly sporty vibe, and I got compliments (yes, on my socks!) the first time I wore them to pilates. Functionally, they’re light and airy but surprisingly durable. The elastic around the foot keeps them snug, and I liked that they didn’t shift around during barre class. These are definitely my pick-me-up socks when I want to feel a little more put together, even if I’m just in leggings and a hoodie.
And finally, the Delicate Women’s Trainer Socks in Celeste. These are the prettiest socks I own—full stop. The soft celeste blue shade is just dreamy. The design is subtle and elegant, with this little ribbed detailing that makes them feel elevated. I wore them with white sneakers and cropped trousers, and they peeked out just so, like a little secret accessory. They’re delicate/thinner in look, but don’t let that fool you—they’re still high-quality and built to last. Even after a wash, they held their shape and softness. Honestly, these are the ones I’d gift to a friend if I wanted to introduce them to Peper Harow.
I never thought I’d use the word “luxury” to describe socks, but here we are. Peper Harow has completely changed the way I think about everyday essentials. The craftsmanship, the fabric quality, the feel—it’s all there. And because they’re sustainably made in England, I don’t even feel guilty about the upgrade. If you’re someone who believes that it’s the little things that elevate your day, these socks are worth the splurge.
