Yes, it's that time of the year- time for the giant spring clean of 2020! I know it's nearly the new year, and I just wanted to throw out some of my old lamps and mirrors and get new ones. I recently purchased a new lamp from RawKopper, a lovely, affordable furniture shop based in the UK. They are really special, because all their furniture are Instagram-worthy and beautifully designed. Everything's ultra stylish, industrial and chic- and that's usually rare for furniture shops!
The best thing about Raw Kopper is that they are a true local business. They design, manufacture and distribute industrial-styled furniture to all corners of the globe, and their quality is impeccable. Their shop specialises in copper furniture, which can suit a variety of households and homes. For me, I really love their shoe racks and copper lamps, and here's what I got!
The 1 thing I got was this gorgeous Copper Floor Lamp- this lamp is pretty stylish, and very cool as it has a fitted gate valve at the middle which makes it look very unique and interesting. The valve reminds me of something you'd find in a factory, only it serves decoration purposes only. The base of the lamp is made from copper pipes which are curled around to make a lovely base . I love the yellow light bulb which matches this lamp very well- it's so elegant and unique and looks like something out of a fancy architecture magazine. It made my room look incredibly stylish and relaxing!
The quality of this handmade lamp is fantastic- the handles on the lamp is hard and sturdy, and doesn't break at all when you touch it. It's also really thin and strong, which is the perfect combination for the lamp of my dreams. I really wanted a floor lamp but most of them are really bulky or clunky and this one's pretty perfect! This copper lamp is pretty much one of the coolest lamps that I've ever seen, and adds to the industrial layout of any studio or flat very well. Personally, as a student who lives in a tiny flat, this light is perfect for the small space that I have. It's great for a room, or a corner, and is pretty aesthetically pleasing!
The lamp was extremely easy to assemble, as all I had to do was put the top half of the pipes together with the bottom. It's lightweight and simply hassle-free to install, even for someone as clueless about furniture as me. You can customise the lampshade by fitting in anything you want. I chose to leave it bare as I wanted a more Industerior look.
