Vintage Mania - featuring Alice's Pig

I'm super excited to be able to feature a really cute, interesting Vintage shop today called Alice's Pig. Yes, that's right, even their name reminds me of something perfectly delightful and old-schooled!   Here's a bit about the shop's story - the founders had a quirky Aunt Alice who made awesome, vintage-inspired clothing that she wore everyday. With her interesting and unique style, she inspired the shop's founders to recreate her wardrobe. How interesting is that?

I've recently received the Talas Touchdown- T-shirt dress in the mail, and it was such a delightful thing to open up their perfectly wrapped parcel! Their logo is super cute, featuring a vintage-looking girl carrying a pig (giving it an old-London vibe) and their delivery is super fast. I chose this dress because it looked really good on their site - you can even view videos of their model wearing the items before buying it, so you can be extra sure of the fitting and design.

The quality of this dress is absolutely fantastic. It's made from cotton and jacquard, which means that it's sturdy and comfortable to wear. The dress is the quintessential vintage staple piece for young girls, since nothing in their collections look old or out of style. The thing I like most about Alice's Pig is how they manage to combine the vintage with the modern , balancing out their colour tones, materials and designs so that people in our generation would be proud to wear them out.

This little dress runs a bit big - I'm usually a UK size 8/10 but I ordered size 8 and it fits perfectly. I'd advise anyone to order a size down. Also they have an amazing range of coats, skirts and tops as well as really cool dresses like their Knotted Shirt Dress , one of my other favourites. I've picked out a few of my most loved items from their store below, which will be perfect for a casual cute spring outfit!

Aren't they lovely? Alice's Pig is absolutely a gem, and it's one of those shops where you'll go "awww" at with their clothing. It's perfect for girls who want a little bit of vintage glamour, but also want something affordable and high quality at the same time.
