In terms of style, I would describe Rox & Ann's bags designs as edgy, unique and luxurious. They have some of the most unique backpacks that I've ever seen, including metallic backpacks and 3-way backpacks that can be transformed into a tote, a cross body and a backpack. I also adore their purses and clutches, as the designs are quite edgy and stylish. Rox & Ann mainly uses leather printed in metallic, nude or monochrome colors, and they love their greys, blacks and metallics. Their bags look like something from a fashion magazine!
For my purchase, I got a Hortensia 3 Way Backpack in a grey crocodile suede leather. I've never used a crocodile suede bag before, but the material is totally unique and stands out from all the other bags that I saw. Crocodile suede felt really smooth yet had the tough, edgy feel to it, making it one of the most unique investment pieces that I've ever gotten!
As for the quality, the finishing on the bag is amazing. Every little detail was stitched and crafted onto the bag perfectly, and the details along the front is beautiful. I love the magnetic clip at the front of the bag, and the smooth grey leather outer shell really gives the bag an extra "oomph" and glamour.
What I love most about this Hortensia backpack is that it can be transformed into 3 different bags. It can be used as a cross body shoulder bag, if I adjust the straps to make them longer. It can also be used as a hand carry tote and a backpack. Seriously, there's no need for me to ever buy another bag when one will do!
In terms of the price, I have to admit that the Hortensia backpack is not cheap- it costs me £130 which is in the medium-range of prices. However, I think that for the quality, every penny is worth it and the bag is really stunning and can last for many years to come, especially since it is made from real leather. Real leather is good because it's resistant, durable and pretty much never breaks. I have to be careful about spilling water on it though, as suede is not water-resistant.
Overall, I'm extremely pleased with the Hortensia backpack from Rox & Ann London. Their shop is beautiful and luxurious, and every girl will love these gorgeous, unique bags!
