Lovely readers, it's time to feature an awesome cardigan that I recently got from Choies (pronounced 'Choice'), an online boutique that sells edgy, vintage yet girly clothing. They kindly sent me a cardigan which I have been eyeing and craving for ages - the Vintage Rose White Cardigan ($48.99).
I have to say - I'm in love with my new cardigan. The vintage top is more of a sweater because it hasn't got any front zips, so it slips on from the head, giving it a very comfy look. I love pieces that are comfortable yet vintage and warm, and I absolutely adore the patterns, the pale pink roses and the floral pattern which are truly vintage and very chic. I styled an outfit based on how I would wear this lovely cardigan...
I styled the cardigan with black tights and black high-heeled boots, because I'm such a boots girl. I think it's an outfit great for spring, or the cooler months, even though the cardigan itself was quite thin and airy. I felt like a vintage princess because the material of the cardigan was extremely light, crisp and a little bit sheer. I'm pleased with it's high quality and versatility - you can style it with anything, jeans, shorts, tights, skirts or even think up something unique.
Also, I love the ripped sleeves and bottom hems, because it adds a slight "rocker" vibe to the cardigan. The sleeves are slightly torn in a casual way, but not overly done, so it looks really stylish and cool. You don't even need accessories because of the details on this shirt! The vintage rose floral cardigan even came with it's own waist-belt, which was such a surprise! The belt was brown, braided and very bohemian, adding to the vintage feel of the cardigan. If you don't like waist-belts, you can always use this extra goodie for jeans, shorts or styling oversized shirts.
What do you think of the outfit and the sweater?
(Let me know, I'd love to hear from you all!)
