Peper Harow: One Beautiful Pair Of Socks at a Time

There is something wonderful about a brand that makes great quality goods. And Peper Harow does exactly that with socks. The British label takes its name from the Surrey parish of Peper Harow and builds its identity around distinctive colour, thoughtful design and Made in England production. Its socks are produced using knitting technology and hand-finished, with seamless toes forming a recurring signature across the range. The result is a collection of beautiful socks ready to be worn, enjoyed and given as gifts. Take a look below at my haul! 

Firstly, a review on my favourite collection. Peper Harow’s Indulgent Cashmere Women’s Socks are absolutely stunning pieces, made with the highest quality. In terms of construction, they are solid. Knitted at a finer 200-needle gauge, they combine cotton with 9 per cent cashmere, supported by polyamide and spandex for shape. The pink/neutral cream shades are sophisticated and especially attractive with loafers, ankle boots or beneath tailored trousers. 

Cashmere socks can sometimes feel too precious for regular wear, but this blended construction is designed to balance softness with washability. My favourite is the Beige pair as it pairs well with camel coats, oatmeal knitwear, tan leather and formal tailoring. Where the cream version feels fresh and luminous, beige feels warmer and more grounded, making it suitable for autumn and winter fashion! 

The Plain Women’s Bed Socks in Cream are my favourite pair of socks showing Peper Harow’s refined side. Their soft muted colour gives them a lovely hotel-like quality, while the fluffy cotton interior makes them great for quiet evenings and cold mornings at home. Made from a blend containing 89 per cent Supima cotton (best kind of cotton),  they really became my loungewear essential that would sit well with pyjamas, a robe or an oversized knit.

Their bed socks come in different patterns. I got the ribbed pair too, which looks slightly different from the pair above but feels equally soft. They last in the wash too- I've given them multiple washes and they do not lose shape. I also like the darker shade in black as it gives it a more versatile feel. Black also makes the ribbed texture more pronounced and gives the pair greater versatility with dark leggings, knitted trousers or monochrome loungewear. 

Finally, the Grid Women’s Trainer Socks in Pink show a sportier side of the brand. Their symmetrical pink-and-cream grid gives the low-cut silhouette a crisp graphic identity, making them more interesting than an ordinary trainer sock while remaining easy to coordinate. They are made from a blend containing 82 per cent Supima cotton and finished with the same seamless-toe attention found elsewhere in the collection. When worn with white trainers, the pattern would feel fresh and playful! 

What makes Peper Harow stand out is truly their quality and designs. Whether the sock is fluffy, ribbed, cashmere-blended or designed for trainers, the brand makes everything with quality yarns, precise knitting and gorgeous detailing. I exclusively wear them to work and for rest, and I love these socks so much!

For gifting, the cream bed socks are an immediately comforting choice, while the cashmere styles feel more polished and personal. For oneself, the black ribbed bed socks and pink grid trainers offer the strongest balance of practicality and character. Across the collection, Peper Harow succeeds because its socks are beautiful without becoming impractical, luxurious without being over the top, and distinctively British!
