New Skincare Favs for 2020

Hi everyone! Embryolisse, a famous French brand, has just launched some fantastic new products which I thought that I might share with you all today. I got them from my local Boots, and you can get them literally at most drug stores. Also you can get them online if you're a lazy bum like me. Anyway, here's what I thought about their new products!

Embryolisse Hydra -Mat Emulsion - the cold winter months means wreaks havoc on my skin, making it dry, flaky and dull. This cream claims to tackle these very problems and claims to have a multifunction effect. I have to say, I've been using this cream for 5 days now and my skin is looking more moisturised and full. It is, however, a bit heavy as it's a thick cream so you can just use a little bit, if you're worried about the heaviness.

I also got this little cute classic clay mask from Funderm - this No Drama Clay Mask is awesome for several reasons so here's my little review:

  • Smell- 4/5 - I love the smell of this clay mask because they used Maris Aqua. The clay smelled fresh and clean. I love the smell of rose, especially in skincare products. It is a bit strong but it smells lovely especially after a nice long shower.
  • Texture- 4/5: I'm pleasantly surprised at how light this clay mask is. Usually, clay masks can become heavy and too drying, but this one was not and made my skin feel light even as the mask was drying. I didn't have to apply a thick layer for it to cover my face, and it dried out really quickly within around 5-10 minutes. This is better than other clay masks I have tried, which took too long to dry out. I didn't feel any tingling sensation or itch, unlike other clay masks I have tried, so I'm pretty happy with this mask.
  • Effect- 3/5: I noticed that my skin felt cleaner, softer and more refreshed after using it. The mask left my skin a bit dry so I had to put on moisturiser, but otherwise the mask was adequate and it removed some of the dirt on my face.
Hope you like my little haul!

  1. That clay mask sounds really good! I love a mask that isn't too heavy or drying on the skin.
