There's nothing more attractive than a guy in a shirt- and this doesn't mean any old shirt- I'm talking about casual sport shirts such as the ones I'm going to review today. I recently purchased two shirts from St Lynn, a high-end, luxurious shirt shop that stocks a variety of smart casual, gorgeous shirts. They're absolutely my new favourite shop because their range is stunning and best of all, everything is 100% made from organic cotton!
A bit about the brand- St Lynn is a high end brand that specialises in designing the best dress shirts for men and women. The company strives to give its customers the best service, quality and pricing. Since 2009, they've been making unique, stylish and preppy items for men and women alike. Based in Southern California, St Lynn designs their collections and houses their clothing until it reaches closets worldwide.
Best of all, everything is manufactured lovingly and by hand in a factory in Macau, to ensure the highest quality items. This means that the shirts are extremely high-quality, beautiful and also ethical in nature. In addition, for every purchase you make, St Lynn will donate part of the profit to a charity called Mother Miracle School which helps poor children in India gain an education. This shows that shopping can also be ethical, sustainable and contribute towards improving the world!
The first shirt that I got was this gorgeous Finn Organic Cotton Slim Fit White Sport Shirt with Pocket- this lovely sport shirt is designed with a contrast blue inner collar and cuffs, which makes it extra preppy, stylish and sophisticated. The blue and white colors go really well together, and this shirt reminds me of something straight out of a fashion magazine! In terms of the design, I really love the little details that St Lynn puts in their shirts. The blue collar, for example, is complimented by a yellow base pattern, which looks stunning and original.
In terms of the quality, the shirt feels really lightweight yet is not transparent or see-through. I really love the fact that the shirt is sturdy and strong without the added weight that usually comes with cotton shirts. The organic cotton material feels really crisp and clean, and knowing that it is made from sustainable materials makes the shirt feel even better. I gave it to my boyfriend and he said that it is one of the most comfortable shirt that he's ever worn!
In terms of the fit, make sure you check their size chart as the shirts come in a slim fit. This means that it's hard to find the right shape for your man's body especially if he is of the heavier build. However, I managed to find the perfect fit because their website is really detailed, and the shirt just looks amazing!
The second shirt that I got is this gorgeous Adrian Organic Cotton Slim Fit Sport Shirt in White - I was really attracted to this shirt because it's one of the coolest sport shirts that I've ever seen. I've always had a thing for preppy styles, ever since I saw Ralph Lauren's cool catalogue of clothes. This is hands down one of the most beautiful shirts that I've ever seen for guys!
The little details are what impresses me most about St Lynn's shirts. As with the other shirt, this gorgeous shirt features a lovely, delicate inner striped lining that comes in a beautiful red, blue and white shade. Talk about style! This preppy shirt looks amazing when unbuttoned and is fantastic with the cuffs rolled up. I think that this shirt is one of their more simple designs, since the stripe pattern runs through the middle but not on the cuffs, unlike the previous shirt.
As for the quality and fit, again St Lynn impresses me with their fantastic manufacturing and lightweight feel. The shirt is not transparent, and feels light and clean. I love light shirts since it makes guys look more carefree and casual. This shirt is a slim fit too, so it looks fitted, trim and stylish. I think that this shirt would go really well with chinos and jeans, and a pair of loafers for a put-together look.
Overall, I'd give St Lynn a solid 10/10 for their impeccable quality, beautiful designs, head-turning styles and lovely website. It is truly a joy to browse for quality men's shirts and I would highly recommend getting one or two shirts for this summer- guys, the hot weather is coming soon!
