A little about SELFNATION- the founders Andreas and Michael decided to create a brand that sells custom-fitting bottoms after spending hours looking for the perfect pair of jeans for their girlfriends. Far from finding the perfect pair, the duo instead decided to take matters into their own hands and create a shop that brings men and women tailored, perfectly-fitting pants for work and play. What distinguishes SELFNATION from other brands is their precision to detail and manufacturing process. Everything is tailored to perfection and the trousers are handmade in Switzerland.
So what's it like ordering from them? All I had to do was go through a few simple steps and choose my fabric type, colour, fit and enter a few measurements. Everything was easy and simple to do, and their website is absolutely gorgeous and user-friendly. My pair of chinos arrived in a beautiful box after a few weeks - take a look at some photos below!
I'm extremely happy with my pair of customized chinos. The design was beautiful- I chose to have my initials embroidered on the pants and they were in a beautiful beige colour. The fabric of the chinos was perfect because they are made from pure cotton which is sourced from the finest mills in the world. The feel of the chinos were amazing- soft, smooth, luxurious and natural - exactly what I was expecting!
As for the fit, I have to say that these are one of the best-fitting chinos that I've ever had. The waist fits me perfectly and the chinos hug my behind really well. Usually, chinos are too loose on me and looks quite unstylish, but these chinos looked incredible on my body. I would definitely recommend getting jeans or work pants if you want something different, as chinos are a bit casual for work. However, they'd make a great wardrobe staple for anyone who wants to look casual and chic for the weekends!
