Hey girls! I was lucky enough to win a Korean Beauty Box from Yesstyle.com, a cool shop which sells fashion and makeup products, including, yes you got it- korean skincare and makeup! I'm a huge fan of Korean makeup as I think they're the best type of product for Asian skin. I'm Chinese, and the makeup products made for the West sometimes doesn't suit me as much. Think of all the products you've tried at drugstores which didn't fit you! With Korean makeup products, I don't have the problem of finding out that the makeup shade I picked is totally too dark or light.

I'm so happy to get my box of goodies in the mail. It was such a lovely surprise, to open my mail and find a whole box full of some new products that I've never tried before. In fact, I've actually heard of most of these Korean brands, such as Laneige, Etude House and Tony Moly. I couldn't wait to try out these products, and I'm going to do a review of 2 products that I thought were most interesting to try.
Berrisom Oops My Lip Tint Review
The first product I'm going to review is the Berrisom Oops My Lip Tint (Virgin Red), one of the trendiest lip tints in Korea right now. This is supposed to be an easy, non-smudging way of coloring your lips. To use it, simply apply lip balm and add a layer of the lip tint. Let dry for 5 to 10 minutes before gently peeling it off from the corner of your lips to enjoy 12 hours of smooth, non-fading colour.
The texture of the lip tint was a bit thick- it was a bit difficult to apply as you have to squeeze out quite a lot from the tube as the texture is thick and sticky. Also, sometimes it can be hard to get the shape of it right on your lips. I applied it without the shape being perfect, and hoped it turned out alright. I would say that the consistency of the lip tint could have been better.
So after trying this lip tint, here's my before and after shot. You can see that the after shot looks really nice- the color's bright, vibrant and beautiful. I think it suits my skin tone, especially because I'm pale but not that white. I think it goes extremely well with a black top since it makes your lips pop. I'm so in love with my new shade as I've never tried red lips before, and this is the first time I have tried this shade on. The lip tint lasted me for around 1 day and the best thing about it is that it doesn't come off when you're eating or drinking! Overall, I'm pleased with the effect, though the application was a bit difficult.
Etude House Etude House Color My Brow Review
I also tried out the eyebrow tint called Etude House Color My Brow (Rich Brown), which is a brush-on mascara-like product for your eyebrows. It helps to set and tint your brows in the shade you choose, creating a brighter appearance that softens your features and brings all the attention on your eyes. It is also available in light brown but I chose the rich brown colour because it matches my dark hair.
As for the texture, I was pretty happy with it as it's light, non-flaky and non-sticky. It also dried really quickly after application, and didn't smudge at all. My eyebrows looked much lighter after using it, even though I used the darker brown shade. It is perfect for people with brown hair and need to make their eyebrows match their hair.
Etude House never disappoints. I'm actually a huge fan of Etude House and their products, and they make the best tints and colouring products that I've used so far. They specialise in colouring makeup products, so it's of no surprise that their eyebrow tint is very easy to use and effective. I think I'll lighten my brows more since it makes me look much more awake and energetic.
Yesstyle is such a lovely shop, and they sell SO many more types of makeup and skincare products. I can't even finish browsing their shop in time, as there is so much selection. The prices are quite affordable and they offer free delivery to the UK if you purchase £25 and above, which is a good deal. I think I'll definitely shop here if I need Korean beauty products in the UK or US- since none of us can afford to go to Korea to shop all the time!
