*Cue French Music* (play below)
Françoise Hardy is one of my favourite French singers, and I've liked her from many years ago, when she did a track with the band Blur (To The End, a la Comedie). However, recently I watched an old video of Françoise recording a track, and I was struck by how elegant she is!
Just a little brief biography of her -Born in France 1944, the shy singer became a huge hit in Europe with several singles she composed herself in the 60s. Hardy starred in several films, and rose in fame, becoming a French fashion icon and even modeled and recorded with magazine Vogue. Apparently, she's very shy in public and often suffers from stage fright!
The beautiful Françoise has a very elegant style, and it's simple, angular, quite vintage and chic. She often wears jumpers that are neutral in colors, long pants and leaves her straight brown hair down. I also love her unique dresses, they vary so much and are all something I would love to get my hands on. Vintage, vintage, vintage....

Extremely classy and elegant, she's definitely one of my favourite French icons. Her music's soft and mellow, but there are some catchy songs that I like to listen to in the evening... it's quite soothing. She's definitely one of the most unique and elegant French fashion / music icon of her time.
